Bringing back the $10 night rate

October 24th, 2016

“Hey, are you still up? Wanna come over?”

Sometimes the only choice is a scoot. You’ve got to get there fast. This is no time to carpool. Your scoot won’t judge.

That’s why we’re bringing back the $10 night rate, so you can ride all night from 10pm to 7am and it won’t cost you more than $10.

Here are some other things you can do with the $10 night rate:

  • Explore the city by headlight;
  • Keep your scoot overnight even if you live outside of the Blue Zones;
  • Be on time to your 7am meeting because you reserved your scoot before you went to bed.

Answers to your questions:

Q: What time does the night rate start?
A: 10pm, every day.

Q: What time does the night rate end?
A: 7am the next day.

Q: How much will I pay for my scooting between 10pm and 7am the next day?
A: Ten bucks.

Q: Are all rides after 10pm $10?
A: Nope. Rides shorter than 100 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes) are charged at our regular low rate. For example, a one hour ride between 10pm and 7am, will still cost you just $6.

Q: What if I start my ride before 10pm? Will it still be $10?
A: The part of your ride before 10pm will be billed at the regular rate. So let’s say you start your ride at 9pm. You would pay $6 for the first hour, and just $10 for the rest of the night.

Q: What if I end my ride after 7am? Will it still be $10?
A: The part of your ride after 7am will be billed at regular rates. So let’s say you start your ride at 11pm and end your ride at 7:15am. You would pay just $10 from 11pm to 7am, plus $1.50 for the 15 minutes after 7am.

Q: What about those cute quads? Can I keep one of those all night for $10, too?
A: Nope. This special night rate is for two-wheeled scoots only. You’re welcome to take a quad on your nighttime adventures, but you will be billed at the regular $6/half-hour.
