San Francisco's Hidden Tiled Stairways

July 7th, 2016

Exploring San Francisco is an endless adventure, everywhere you turn there are three more attractions waiting for you to investigate. Add these mosaic stairs to your list of hidden adventures because even the most well-versed urban explorers probably haven’t seen all three of these beautiful steps.

Tucked away in the windy roads of Grandview Park, 16th Avenue Tiled steps are the most popular set of mosaic stairs. When visiting here, make sure to hike to the very top of grandview park for some bonus exploration points.

2. Hidden Garden Steps: Sunset

Very close to the tiled steps above but way less popular, most people who go to the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps are clueless of the existence of the Hidden Garden Steps. Take some time to sit at the bench and contemplate how many hours it must have taken to create such a beautiful installation.

3. Lincoln Park Steps: Sea Cliff

Located in Seacliff, this amazing staircase might not be as tall as the two above but it is more than three times wider. Check out these stairs and then go for a hike around Land’s End
