Scoot joins NABSA for Roll to the Polls ahead of 2020 Election

In 2016, transportation problems were cited as the reason that more than 4.5 million Americans didn’t vote. That’s why Scoot, together with Bird, is joining with the North American Bikeshare Association’s (NABSA) Roll to the Polls initiative to help ensure all registered voters can have their voice heard in the 2020 election.

Along with other bike share and micromobility providers, Scoot is offering free rides in SF on election day. We’ll also be reminding our riders about the importance of casting their ballot – by mail or at the polls – throughout the next month.

Simply enter code VOTE2020 on election day to receive a free Scoot ride up to 30 minutes on Tuesday, November 3.

“We want to do our part to help ensure that our San Francisco community has easy access to ballot boxes,” said Bob Walsh, Government Partnerships at Scoot. “Access to transportation should not prevent or prohibit anyone from voting. We’re proud to partner with Bird, NABSA, and Roll to the Polls to help make it easier for registered voters to make their voices heard this year.” You can visit the Roll to the Polls website to find a full list of mobility companies participating in this year’s election initiative. Be sure to have your voice heard in the 2020 election!
