Scoot’s favorite places to see the sunset
San Francisco might not be known for sunsets but it is known for the views. What happens when you combine great views with a huge ball of fire? Go to one of these spots to find out! Click here to check the time of the sunset.
A: Twin Peaks– The 360-degree view that twin peaks offers is greatly dramatized by the orange burn of the sunset. Bring a windbreaker, though. It can get pretty chilly up there. Thrill seekers rejoice: The ride up and down the twisty roads is really fun!
B: Grandview Park– Grandview park lets you see the sun set on The Sunset (neighborhood). Two sunsets in one ride? Think of the value.
C: Ocean Beach– What could beat the sunset at the westernmost part of the city? listen to the waves crash at your feet and watch the orange glow reflect off the water. Bring a blanket and a warm drink! It’s gonna get cold once the sun is gone.
D: El Techo– If you’re looking for a something a bit more comfortable than a park, this restaurant/bar has great views of The Mission and downtown. Drop off your scoot at our 21’st and Valencia garage.
E: Alamo Square– An iconic landmark in our amazing city, people from all over the world can recognize the Painted Ladies. Sit on the Western side to watch the sunset and then move to the eastern side for a beautiful view of Downtown.
F: Crissy Field– During certain times of the year, you can catch the sun behind the Golden Gate Bridge. It doesn’t get more San Francisco than that!
