What is the Community Plan?

Scoot’s Community Plan allows riders to pay the discounted price of 50¢ to unlock and 7¢/minute to ride Scoot’s kick scooters. Cash payment is available to riders on this plan.

How much does it cost?

With the Community Plan, it’s just 50¢ to unlock a kick scooter and then 7¢/minute after that on up to 4 rides/day.

Who is eligible?

Scoot’s Community Plan is available to riders who are enrolled in low-income programs such as EBT, seniors, veterans, discounted utility services, or any other state or federally-run assistance programs. This plan is offered to non-profits, students with Pell grants, teachers, frontline workers, delivery drivers, grocery clerks, waiters, disaster service workers, and essential workers. Employees of pre-approved community-based organizations (CBOs) and nonprofits in San Francisco serving underserved and at-risk areas, including Positive Resource Center, The Arc San Francisco, Young Community Developers and Urban Ed Academy also qualify.
